Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using Our Service.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Linq.es (the “Service”, “Company”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country, if higher) to use the Service. If under 18, you must have parental consent. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

3. Your Content

You retain ownership of your content. By using the Service, you grant us a license to host and display it for the sole purpose of operating the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your content and links comply with the law.

4. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes. Prohibited uses include fraud, spam, harassment, defamation, pornography, discrimination, infringement of intellectual property, or distributing malware/phishing links.

Our platform design, software, and trademarks remain our exclusive property. You may not copy, reproduce, or misuse our intellectual property without written permission.

7. Consumer Rights

If you reside in the European Union, you may have statutory consumer rights, including a 14-day right of withdrawal for paid subscriptions purchased online. This right may be lost if you begin using the paid service. Nothing in these Terms overrides your statutory rights.

8. Fees & Subscriptions

Paid plans renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. Prices may change with prior notice. Except where required by EU law, payments are non-refundable after the 14-day withdrawal period.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, though we will use reasonable efforts to maintain availability.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages (such as loss of profits or data). Our total liability is limited to the greater of: (a) the fees you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim; or (b) €20 if you used only the free plan.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability which cannot be excluded by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or applicable laws. Some provisions (e.g., liability limits, IP rights) continue after termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may also bring claims in your country of residence. The European Online Dispute Resolution platform is available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
